Soft flooring and carpets are our speciality. We have provided hundreds of miles of carpets for customers all over Sussex. We supply wool mix and manmade (Poly) carpets from all the major manufacturers, such as Cormar, Abingdon, Furlong Flooring, Adams, Axminster and many more. 

All of our carpets come with a heavy domestic rating as a minimum as we feel this is the requirement for everyday use in our homes today.

Carpet pricing – no hidden costs – fitting always included

To make life simple, all of our prices include fitting, and some even include underlay as one price. There are no secrets to our pricing and absolutely no hidden costs.  

Our estimates are free, and should you choose to come with us, delivery is free too!  

We pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible, and we have, on many occasions, been able to save customers money vs other estimates from larger companies. Give us a try, you might be pleasantly surprised! 

Vinyl flooring 

Vinyl flooring has been and is still the go-to smooth floor covering for many years. Previously known as ‘lino’ or ‘linoleum,’ vinyl is the modern-day equivalent and is far more comfortable for your home.  

Today’s vinyl is available in thousands of different styles and patterns, giving you a multitude of choices and catering to nearly any home. We stock a wide variety of qualities that will enable you to find the style and quality to create the finish you desire. Easy to maintain and hard wearing, it’s easy to see why vinyl is so popular. Waterproof and wipe clean, families benefit significantly from its ease of maintenance. When sheet vinyl looks nearly as good as the real thing, why have anything else? 

Luxury vinyl tiles (LVT)

LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) are a relatively new product to the world of flooring. Having been launched a few years ago by Karndean and Amtico, two leading brands in LVTs, we have been paying close attention ever since.  

Luxury Vinyl Tiles are the pinnacle of manmade hard flooring. Outperforming traditional sheet vinyl, easier to maintain than real wood alternatives and also being totally waterproof, they’re the product of the future, which we have today.  

We supply and fit this product in individual tiles which are stuck down, meaning that if the worst happens, a few individual tiles can be replaced instead of the entire floor! The likeness to real wood flooring is uncanny – some ranges even have registered embossment where the dips follow the contours of the wood pattern! If you are looking for an exceptionally hardwearing product for any area of your house, look no further.

Abingdon flooring 

Abingdon flooring has been one of our largest flooring accounts for the last ten years. They are a British based company that produces vinyl flooring, manmade and wool carpets all over the UK. Producing somewhere in the region of 14 million square metres of carpet each year, they know a thing or two!  

We have trusted Abingdon flooring for many years now to produce the high-quality flooring we know time and time again. Our promise to you is consistent flooring, and Abingdons does this time and time again. Many of the staff who work here at V R Flowers have Abingdon flooring in their homes, and if it’s good enough for them, we are sure it will be good enough for you! Why not come in and have a look at one of their many ranges – Stainfree Ultra. It’s one of our best sellers. It’s a manmade polypropylene twist carpet with 20 contemporary colours. With the feel of a Saxony but the performance of a twist, it’s the best of both worlds. It’s also entirely bleach cleanable – making it fantastic for a growing family or those accidental spills (believe us, we know!).  

Cormar carpets 

Cormar Carpets have been around since the 1920s and originally produced textiles. For over 60 years now, they have been making quality carpets in Britain for us all. They produce some of the best manmade and affordable wool carpets that we sell. Just like us, they’re a family business and have traditional values at the heart of all they do, which makes them a pleasure to deal with.  

All their ranges are rated as ‘Heavy Domestic’ or higher and show a ten year warranty, which we feel is the minimum to stand up to the everyday wear in your home. Showcasing over 15 different ranges of carpets, we have plenty to choose from with this supplier, and the colours are endless!  Beautiful looped carpet, traditional cut pile, wool or manmade, Cormar has it all. Furlong flooring and carpets

Furlong Flooring – ‘first choice flooring for every room’. Their motto says it all: Furlong has a vast variety of products all available at very pocket-friendly pricing.  Furlong Flooring are unique in that they don’t only supply soft floor coverings but sheet vinyl and LVTs too! We stock many ranges from Furlongs as their customer service, exceptionally fast delivery times, and quality products keep both of us happy. It’s no surprise that they’re so successful after 30 years of flooring.  

Camaro flooring

The Camaro flooring collection of Luxury Vinyl Tiles has been expertly designed to cater to your home and lifestyle needs. Our flooring department covers all aspects of flooring for your home or commercial property. We have been supplying and laying flooring in Seaford and the surrounding areas of Sussex and beyond for over 50 years.

Our team of specialists and floor layers has too many years of flooring experience to count! We are here to get you the best finish possible, and with us, you’re in safe hands. Whether you would like carpet, vinyl, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) or rugs, we have you covered.  

As we have been established for over 70 years, we have accounts with all the major suppliers, such as Cormar, Furlongs, Abingdon Flooring, Karndean, Adams, Axminster and many more.  

Our carpet and flooring department is on the lower ground floor but directly accessible from Claremont Road. You can park on the forecourt, directly outside of the showroom.
