Helping our customers stay clear of Covid-19

For the safety of our customers and staff, we’re carefully following the government’s COVID-19 secure guidelines around workplace safety. We continually monitor this our shop safely guidance and update and enhance our own routines whenever we need to.  

Social distancing and masks in the store

We have ample space in our store and can therefore ask our customers to keep 2 metres apart from other customers and V R Flowers employees. Please do visit and browse at your leisure. We want everyone to feel comfortable and shop safely with us. 

Hand sanitising and store cleaning 

When customers enter the store, we have hand sanitiser and ask people to use this before browsing to shop safely. 

Hand sanitisers are located across the store, and we have introduced frequent and thorough in-store cleaning routines with particular attention to surfaces like door handles, handrails and the lift. 

Personal protective equipment 

Our staff have been provided with masks, please let us know if you’d like them to use it. 

Government regulation states that staff are not required to wear PPE but please just ask and we will happily put some on. We’ve also installed protective Perspex screens at our sales teams. Disposable pens for signing order paperwork are readily available.  

Avoiding physical contact 

We always used to shake hands, but a friendly wave will do nowadays. We are as keen as everyone to stop the spread, but unfortunately, this is one of those traditions we are currently making do without.

We offer safe, non-contact delivery 

Our delivery teams observe social distancing and, they work in fixed pairs. They also wear face masks, protective gloves and use hand sanitiser before and after every delivery. 

Wear a face covering 

We’re asking everyone to wear a face-covering at all times when visiting one of our stores to comply with the most recent government guidance. If you are unable to wear a face mask for medical reasons, please let us know when you enter the store.

We want you to know that our first priority is the safety of our customers, staff and the local community. We do hope we will see you in-store, but if you are unable to visit, please call us, and we can bring some samples to your home.

It has been good to welcome you back to our store and resume deliveries made safe by following the government’s COVID-19 Secure guidance. We may still be experiencing some delays from manufacturers, but please know that we are doing everything we can.
